Other Activities
• Acolytes. Acolytes participate in the Holy Eucharist by carrying candles, the cross and the gospel book. See more information under Families and Kids.
• Altar Guild. Members of the Altar Guild assist the clergy in preparing the church and the sanctuary for the Holy Eucharist.
• Christian Education for Adults. Courses in Bible study, theology, ethics, church history and everyday concerns are offered at various times throughout the year. A formal program of Formation is available for adults seeking baptism, confirmation or reception in the Episcopal Church.
• Maintenance. Volunteers help maintain our Church and Parish House, and the two cemeteries.
• Eucharistic Ministers. Lay eucharistic ministers assist with distributing the eucharist at Holy Eucharist and bringing the eucharist to those who cannot be present at church.
• Lay Readers. Lay readers participate in the Holy Eucharist as readers of scripture.
• Sunday School. Sunday school classes are held on Sundays between 9:00 and 10:00 during the school year for the children and youth of the parish. See more information under Families and Kids.
• Kings Things. Trinity joins with other local churches to support Kings Things, a thrift shop in the center of Swedesboro. Kings Things also provides financial assistance to people in crisis.
• Ushers. Ushers perform various greeting, collection, offertory and ushering tasks during the Holy Eucharist.
